UIT series underwater transducers Designed and manufactured with quality in mind the UIT series transducers are intended for use in underwater communications equipment as either a microphone or a speaker. Physically the device is cylindrical, having a diameter of 24 mm and a height of 8 mm. The UIT-1 is housed in an anodised aluminium case and is useable up to 20 feet below the surface. The UIT-2 is housed in a stanless steel case and is useable up to 250 ft below the surface for 30 minutes.
